Did you use 2 cups of flour, or 1, it says 2 on the side, but even though I did what you did, mine was too dry, as I used the 2 cups it said to, but in the video, it looks like you used 1 cup of flour?

Did this, it turn out great, but my kids are not keen on eating peaches....so i used custard....kids love it for afternoon tea....so simple & easy to do....

I remade this recipe using only one cup of flour. It looks more like the batter in the video and the results were better. My husband just said, "Now THAT is yummy". So I suggest making it with one cup of flour. Good luck. Love you, Nicko!

OK, so I finished making it. I think it's supposed to be 1 cup of flour and not two. The batter was too dry and the finished product just seemed like there was too much dough to peaches. Another viewer wrote this as well, but Nicko (I love you) hasn't answered their question about 1 cup or two in over a year. I'll try it again sometime. Even with the above problem, the family still liked it.

I was looking for a peach pie recipe, and this popped up. I said, "Yeah, Nicko's got one!"

hey nikko um is it ok to melt the butter instead of pinching it in your fingers and mixing it that way?

To make the sponge even more fluffy and soft beat it for 5 mins with a hand mixer it will create lots of air into it. :) Hope this helps!!!
