  • What change grip? I wouldn't...

  • actually there is no problem if you retain the deck in hand. consider two situations

    1) erdnase original :: letting the spectator return the card. you start with mechanics grip but curl the finger under the deck to facilitate the return of the card and then go back to the original grip you started with which is the mechanics grip.

    2) magician inserts the selected card :: here again it always helps me riffle the side of the deck before i insert the card, when done i return to normal grip.

  • Okok, I see your point. BUT, if you don't hand out the deck, you are in some kind of mechanics grip. That's the problem I have. Have you tried straighten your index finger out before you pull the move?
