Does anyone know what happened with Elizabeth Keener? I thought that she was going to be on Venice. I am disappointed to NOT see her. It would be nice if at least ONE actor on the show were actually a lesbian in "real life!" lol...but really. I love most of the actors involved here, but everyone is straight. So, does anyone know what happened and why Keener isn't on the show? Thanks! :-)

i think keener got sick and was unable to do season one. And that is why Nadia ended up playing Lara. I believe Keener is suppose to be in season two.

I love the video, so sensual. I am straight, but I love the chemistry. And the music selection was great. I look forward to the rest of the series. Really good work. I was GL fan, and this helps carry on the story line of "Otalia", which I had hoped GL would have let have more of a conclusion and let the two share their love on the series.

From Outfront Colorado: You play a lesbian character on Venice. What is that like for you as a straight woman and how did you prepare for your part?

CC: I did not have to do much to prepare. I am equally attracted to men and women and I like both genders, so it is not an issue for me. You are attracted to who you are attracted to and fall in love with who you fall in love with. This is who my character is - a gay woman. It wasn't difficult to understand or portray her.

@klantz49 Interesting that you feel Venice carries on the storyline of Otalia. I don't see ANY similarities in the characters, the story, the writing, or anything else. The only similarity is that Crystal & Jessica are both in this series. That's hardly a continuation of the Otalia story.
