Morality Without God

Atheists often hear the question, "How can you be moral without God?" The real question is, "How can a moral person accept God?" If the scriptures are true, God sets a terrible example for Goodness.

@hawg427 Jesus did sin.If you read your Bible, you noticed that he gets angry at one moment.As the Bible itself says, anger is the same as murder by the eyes of God.

We as human beings are a Sinful people. We have inside us what they call the "Old Adam" Even when you accept Jesus as your Lord and Saviour you will still SIN. No matter who you are. Only ONE person walked this earth that was sinless, that was Jesus Christ. No matter how "Good we think we are we are all still sinners in Gods eyes. His Son Jesus took upon himself all of the sins of the world, past,present & future. He has already done it for us and all we have to do is acknowledge him as Lord.

i have always thought that it is such an idiotic thing to say that your morals come from god, someone shouldn't have to be told not to kill someone or not to rape and so on we just naturaly know its wrong because we put ourselves in their posistion its as simple as that, nothing to do with religion. BUT recently i have realised that stupid and heartless people need their morals from god!!! for example if there were no police there would be riots and the ones causing the riots would be the stupid
