The poet asks Yasodha how she managed to bring up,scold and hold little Krishna who was truly the almighty? Yashoda! what penance did you perform 1) to be called amma (mother) by the omnipresent God? 2) to be able to hold in your hands, feed milk,and sing lullaby to the person who created the 14 earths? You tied him up and made him beg you to the envy of Brahma and Indra. To receive with no efforet what Sanaka and other sages obtained after hard penance what penance did you perform?

This song helps me go to sleep peacefully. I don't believe in GOD(s) but I like music and ethnic poetry, be it religious,etc... 2:05 and later is very touching when heard with the flow. The violinist seemed familiar. Maybe she's famous. All the best Ms. Gayathri. Classical & ethnic artists should influence the Thamizh Nadu Govt. to properly structure Basic arts for school students so that we Thamizh people (especially the younger ones) aren't robbed off the chance to appreciate our own treasures
