Frank McGee opens this segment with a description of the snipers nest, and a meal which was found on the 6th floor of the Texas School Book Depository. Next McGee describes the arrival from Hawaii of the cabinet of President Kennedy. The Cabinet was heading for Japan when they found out of the death of President Kennedy. After it was known the President was shot, the airplane turned around and flew back to Hawaii and then back to Washington. The scene shows the airplane at Andrews Air Force Base. The scene shows Dean Rusk -Secretary of State, shaking hands on his arrival with Chief of Protocol Angier Biddle Duke, Under Secretary of Commerce Franklin Roosevelt Jr., Under Secretary of State George Ball, Deputy Under Secretary of State for Political Affairs U. Alexis Johnson. Also arriving on the plane was Commerce Secretary Luther Hodges, Interior Secretary Stewart Udall, Agriculture Secretary Orville Freeman, Treasury Secretary Douglas Dillon, Labor Secretary Willard Wirtz and Press Secretary Pierre Salinger. Next are comments by Dean Rusk about President Kennedy. After this the story goes to David Brinkley who is in Washington D.C., who makes comments about the speed of events on November 22, 1963. Brinkley then throws it back to Frank McGee in New York who states that Dallas Police Chief Jesse Curry announced that Lee Harvey Oswald is charged with murdering President Kennedy. The story then switches to Robert MacNeil in Texas, who introduces a story/packet by Charles Murphy about the Austin, Texas fundraiser which never happened on the evening of November 22, 1963. At the end of this newsclip, there is more on the story of Lee Harvey Oswald-accused assassin of President Kennedy. Police Sergeant Gerald Hill of the Dallas Police describes Oswald's arrest at the Texas Theater in the Oakcliff part of Dallas,Texas on November 22, 1963.

  • David Brinkley's commentary is outstanding. This must be preserved.

  • The paraffin test for Oswald's cheek was negative. It is impossible for a person to fire a firearm without traces being left on the face. Oswald got the screws put to him. There is no way one person pulled off the assassination by themself. It's a travesty that the Warren Commission report has allowed to be held up by the media. Dan Rather and Tom Brokaw still describe Oswald as the assassin, not the "alleged" assassin. Kennedy's murder is still unsolved, it's still an open case as is Tippit's.

  • @kcsunshine64 right on....negative paraffin tests are just one part...the fake secret service men on top of the grassy knoll who were shooing people away from the area of the railroad yards tells us something as well. Why were people with fake secret service ID there unless it was to protect the real assassins? We know they were fakes because all the secret service personnel immediately went to Parkland Hospital. Some came back 20-30 min later but none there at that time!

  • @proken58 I'll bet they did. My family watched CBS.

  • @kcsunshine64

the parrafin tests proved nothing, the test for nitrates in previous & tests after the assasinationshowed positive on some & negative on others, oswald did it & did it alone,,,

  • @strongtim72 John Lennon's shooter did it in plain sight where he was arrested at the scene, not from an office building with a high-powered rifle.

  • "I didn't shoot anybody sir, I haven't been told what I'm here for"

  • Osama Bin Ladin killed JFK

  • @strongtim72 who did it then? Give me some evidence.

  • @strongtim72 Not hardly.

  • All you conspiracy theorists are out of your mind! John Lennon was assassinated by a lone gunman, and so was JFK.

  • @radiootoo That's right! If all of the conspiracy theories were correct, Dealey Plaza would have been so packed with assassins the limousine would not have had any room to get through!
