Why I Hate Youtube Annotations

I hope you realize how much you annoy everyone when you put a big subscribe annotation in the middle of your video.

They should be called "youtube spam boxes" in my oppinion, because I think the idea of annotations is great, but youtube has implemented them very poorly. They shouldn't allow links at all, they should limit the size of the annotations, they should also limit the number of annotations in a video depending on it's length, and definitely add an option to turn them off once and for all instead of having to turn them off on every video i watch. Why are all youtube features mandatory?

annotations are nothing. what about the retards who hyperlink the whole video so if you click to pause, without realizing it, it sends you to another page they want you to go

For the first question: No, if I want to see the video, I turn off the annotations. That's easy.

At the end of every video now, a FORCED annotation pops up by the Subscribe button. That's right. Also for HD videos you get 'Watch in HD'. You can't turn these off. They're small but annoying in their own way.

The general public (soccer moms and children) somehow have the patience to ignore even the worse cases of annotations. It's like they have no consciousness when they're online enough to even care about it. YouTube feeds on these people and thus no matter what we say, it stays

I hate them because when they pop up, they obstruct your view. Now YouTUBE HAD THE FUCKING NERVE to put their own annotations by the "HD" button and the "SUBSCRIBE" button just because it's commonly used. Haven't you noticed the black annotation-looking bubbles that come up when you open a video?

Incredibly annoying feature.
