The Willamette river is pretty full right now. Looks like the Army Corps of Engineers has got the floodgates wide open on the dams upriver. This is the flooding at Island Park in Springfield, Oregon on June 4th, 2010.

  • Curious to know how the water levels fluctuating, was this after a storm or rainie days?

There is flooding in Idaho and Montana and that water is heading for the Colombia.

  • @upRootedNymph The Willamette is controlled by a bunch of big dams upriver. The water level we are seeing in the video is directly controlled by the Army Corps of Engineers in charge of those dams. There was a lot of water in the last couple of weeks so they are draining off the lakes.
