Green Velvet tearing the house down not too long after he came on at Nocturnal Wonderland 2011.

I took some license with depth of field and got some really cool results when the camera adjusted exposure settings to match. Was able to tune into the crowd directly in front of me and back into the DJ/main room once I got the hang of it.

  • First time seeing Green Velvet and this genre itself, live. I was totally blown away. I'm almost always at the Drum & Bass stage, but I'm really glad I checked him out. So sick.

  • @blackdakkon they really did an incredible job with the lineup that room this year. i'm def a dnb guy myself at those big raves cuz that's usually the only place they get a good intl dnb lineup in LA, but I was planted in this room all night until Dirtyphonics and was kinda underwhelmed by them...maybe it was the sound system but something was off.

  • he fucking threw it down!!!!!!!!!!!!! one of the best sets of the night

  • @jonria1 no doubt, he leveled that place

  • What's the name of the second song?

  • Every deejay killed in the upside down room!!! Techno TechHouse Minimal discoTech house!!! Is were is at!!!!

  • hands down one of the best sets of the night. green velvet never disappoints.

  • @cknelson15 The sound system was completely fucked in the Sunken Garden by the time Dirtyphonics came on Saturday. Either Insomniac doesn't know how to EQ a Funktion One sound system or something was broken, either way I had to leave within 5 minutes of the set or else my group and I were going to go deaf. The Upside Down room was definitely the place to be that night. Best sound, best music, best people, and most importantly Green fucking Velvet.

  • @cknelson15 Yeah SoCal gets shit Drum & Bass lineups almost all of the time, and the only time the sound system is actually good is at a massive like this anyway. I think you felt underwhelmed because the DnB room had really lame vibes compared to almost every other stage, and that Dirtyphonics played the same shit they always play. TC played a killer set compared to the rest of Saturday's lineup. Friday's DnB lineup should have been switched with Saturday in my opinion.

  • @DiscoDiscoism Felix Cartal - Joker :)

  • @blackdakkon It was my first time seeing Green Velvet too, I spent almost all of that night inside that room.

  • Felix Cartal - Joker, awesome tune :D!
