Just installing a rood vent in the enclosed trailer to keep it cool while working.

  • Dude did you seriously wait till AFTER you screwed it down to bust out the sealant?

  • @womackke There is a double sided sticky rubberized seal that spreads out after you put the screws. Its provides a good seal because if you put it on and its not right your pulling hard to get it off. That is how the factory builds these trailers also. Hasn't leaked yet.

  • What kind of gasket is below the vent plate? That silicone would be better used on the underside of that plate than slathered on top. If it doesn't leak yet it soon will.
