Srobist Portrait with Dark Background, Examples + Shots by Adrian Vilcan
This is an example of how you can achieve some interesting shots with easy stuff. If you have flashes and wireless.. and an empty box that you don't need.. time for an experiment :)
The gear for this project was
Canon XSi/450d on a 18-55mm kit lens (my tamron 28-75mm wasnt wide enough)
550EX flash
430EX flash
and wireless CTR-301P
the rest is all rubber bands and carton

but by turning flash power up, and also a small aperture (small aperture means bigger number like 11 and up) u can get that effect
