Plant Growing Time Lapse - Echinacea

Plants. They sit there and look boring in real time. However, when you speed them up you find that they are dancing around quite a bit. Watch as this echinacea plant moves to the beat of a hard rock song.

This is my first attempt at shooting a time lapse video of a plant. I shot for just less than two months. I used a Sony VX2100 Mini DV camera in interval record mode. It took half a second of video every 10 minutes. I then used Final Cut Pro to speed up the video about 5000 times faster.

The song is "New World Grave" from the Studiocutz Music Library.
