Pete Cater plays drums (and drops sticks) with the award-winning Midland Youth Jazz Orchestra (directed by John Ruddick) on an archive performance from the 1980s recorded at the Royal Albert Hall, London. Special guests are Stan Tracey (piano) and Art Themen (soprano sax). Look out for "future" British jazz stars Mark Nightingale (trombone) and Julian Arguelles (baritone sax).
