@Greylan god damn japs, a decade of AERIS, with an s, now theyve retconned every piece of FF merchandise with the name Aerith, sounds like you have a fucking lisp when you say it.......ill always stick with Aeris

Apparently "Aerith" was 'supposed' to be the correct translation, but it was translated to 'Aeris' by 'mistake'. This is because the Japanese don'th have a 'th' in their alphabet, so Aeris and Aerith sound the same in Japanese. The guys in the translation department managed to translate Sefirosu into Sephiroth without any problems though so I wonder why they made the 'mistake' with Aerith. (Personally, I MUCH prefer the Aeris spelling to Aerith).
