***Watch in HD***Falcon is sired by Rowdy Rawhide and Sam Mullins's grey speed racking mare. He is a 10 year old stallion with a very docile attitude . He has a smooth 4-beat gait and when called on, he can set the road on fire .He is passing this smooth gait and speed on to his colts.

  • LOL you know Earl has worked many of a horse.....

  • Yes, I need lots of help on working him and our video isn't the best, but not bad for an old standardbred.

  • This video is a hoot Hatchet. Earl said he was going to talk to you on working a horse.

  • Thanks Susie, This was the first time ever and I need all the help I can get.

  • Ah, this explains why he is racking so square in the other video: you've built in him the muscle to carry himself well. I hadn't connected the two videos as being the same horse.

  • i still watch these videos and say to myself...dang id like to own that dude!lol

    thanks bro

  • What a handsome boy he is! I have a racking horse mare called Sweetp ^_^ i love her to death! Everyone love her when they come over because she is a chestnut with white dots all over her! No she isn't a appaloosa cross lol she is full blooded racking! She is also blind in one eye.

Racking horses are great! Without them i wouldn't have Sweetp and my life wouldn't be life!

Love your racking horse. I don't breed and god only knows what Sweetp would do. But i bet he makes great babies. (:

  • I used to do the same with my gaited pony, but you have way too big a collar on him. The point of draft is right on the point of his shoulder, which really hurts. You are also letting him jump into the collar, which can cause a sweeney, permanent nerve damage to the shoulder and a resultantant death of the muscle. Get a copy of the Draft Horse Journal. It will show you how to properly fit a collar and hames.

  • Earl said you coller is too big, and like draftman420 said. I figured it would be for ever before we see ya.

  • He's a fine animal! One of the best!

  • You done ok, but Earl said he's going to talk to ya. I think the horse done his best, but he could of done better if his owner knew more about putting him to work. LOL Earl said Sam tought all his horses to work
