  • on mac the driver crashes and doesnt save anything after 5 mins of recording, can this be fixed?

  • @iMAWtalibanana Make sure you have the latest version of the viewer 0.5.3. It doesn't crash on my computer over here, so make sure it's open before any other video programs are open.

  • Sometimes I have a line in the top of my recordings. What causes that? Maybe because the device gets hot??? It's not in the video. It's in the very top of the video. Occasionally I come across youtube videos the same way. What can I do about that? do I need to post a sample video?

  • @bluestreak711 It depends on the program you use to record the video. Normally programs let you crop that top area off or you can pick a screen dimension that is slightly smaller vertically to crop that top bit off. Usually this is just a tracking issue from VHS video or interference from the RCA cables.

  • @wwwgjackca it says not found valid video capture device whenever I try to run the software on the CD

  • Hi. Great, helpful video. I have a question I hope you can help me with.

Can this Easy Cap RCA/S-video to USB hub and software be used to view (capture would be nice but not necessary) 720p HD video on a laptop from a video camera?

    Thanks in advance,

    Wade

  • Love the song

  • So essentially what you're saying in this video is that it doesn't work in Mac at all, unless you use run bootcamp which is essentially windows. Hmph. I tried downloading the easycap viewer software which is suppose to work for mac, but it doesn't recognise the device. The light comes on the device but no sign of it in video glide or easycap viewer. Waste of money then because I don't run bootcamp, I fricking hate windows.

  • 0:39 what is that box?

  • @waydej87 i had the sama problem i dowloaded the drivers on windows 7 then it started to work

  • EVERYTIME ITS PLUGGED IN IT SHOWS MY WEBCAM AND NOT MY EASYCAP WHAT THE FUCK!!!!!!!!!!!!! HELP!!!!!!!!!1

  • mine doesnt turn the light on but it heats up and it doesnt come up in easycap viewer

  • I put the installation disk in the laptop, but the laptop completly destroyed the disk in peices. What do I do now? Is there another way to install my EasyCap Capture Card.
