they call themselve World Local Bank lol, can't even get a home loan oversea "Malaysia" to buy property, they chicken out, they worry I can't pay them back, because I was a foreigner there. Anyway I did get the loan from local bank there and they are very good.

50000 fifty thousand pounds in my current account but cheque paid to my wife bounced by HSBC. I no longer bank with HSBC. Caused horrendous grief and worry. Say no more. Its the bank from hell.

HSBC UK IS THE BANK FROM HELL

If you live in the UK and have a current account your account will now be marked "DORMANT" if you go away on a 3 month cruise or travel around Australia etc, and do not use your account whilst travelling. This means that on your return any cheques that you write to pay bills etc will be returned "BOUNCED". This causes unimaginable grief to its customers. This happened to me and it will happen to you. BEWARE !!!!
