Windows Vista vs Windows XP for Gaming - a problem for most gamers is lack of driver support in Windows Vista. I believe SP1 for Vista will make a difference and will give a real alternative to XP.

The biggest problem of vista is that many people buy a vista "Capable" laptop with 1 GB ram and that is not enough. 2 GB is good for normal use and 4 GB for gaming. Another problem is the driver issues but that will be fixed with windows update and the service packs. Vista works good on a pentium 4 with 2 GB ram. :). XP is an unique OS. It just requires about 512 mb ram .
