GFWC New Tampa Woman's Club Goes Red For Women

As part of the GFWC New Tampa Woman's Club, it made sense to bring awareness to a cause that so directly affects women. We are in the midst of planning our black-tie annual fundraiser. During our meetings we play a "Jr. Tube" video about elements of the event to evoke excitement in the club. This month it was about the most important thing - what you are wearing! So a few of us went and tried on fun dresses. At the end of our Jr. Tube video we showed us all in our ultimate dress chjoice - a red dress. In addition to this video, I have a still shot that can be provided. Another element to this is at the Feb. general meeting we encouraged our members to wear red. We also have a picture of the majority of girls that wore red to the meeting and some of us are even holding Go Red signs! We definitely brought awareness this year to Go Red!
