Good lord, it's been a while since I last uploaded a video.
This video was taken back in July by a friend of mine, and I apologise for the quality of the video, but the audio isn't completely lost.
A couple of things; my voice, even though this is a recent video, is still developing and sounds a little different now, and I do go a bit sharp on the highest note as I was tired therefore not supporting very well - that doesn't usually happen, and for someone with perfect pitch like myself, it's a little painful! Nevertheless I'm quite proud of this video.
I'm currently 16 years old and I sing with a variety of choirs doing ensemble and solo work, including the National Youth Training Choir of Great Britain. I've also recently gained a place in the Chetham's School of Music, and I'm extremely proud of that (it's not easy to get in!). I also compose music, arrange music, do a lot of listening, and I play the piano also.
Go ahead and enjoy the video - leave a comment, if you have any constructive criticism on how I could improve then go ahead and leave it, feel free to subscribe - and please be reminded any rude comments, pointless comments, or spam will be deleted, and you will be blocked.
@SecretChapeau Thanks for the luck wished. I ended up not doing it. I couldn't get the sheet music copied in time. I ended up doing "Green Finch and Linnet Bird." It went well...till I got to sight reading @_@

@gothicXemoXvampire I'm not saying all sopranos go sharp. Singing these words clearly while hitting those notes right...it's daunting. BUT, this is a gorgeous song that is PERFECT for auditions, and I wish you the best of luck in yours!

@SecretChapeau I'm a soprano doing this song as a SOPRANO for an audition into a music college in two days. Your pessimism for sopranos is encouraging. >_>

I sang this at a vocal competition years ago when I was 16 and got high marks. Between my soprano and the song selection (compared to my counterparts who chose EVANESCENCE songs and such) the judges loved it. Everytime I hear a soprano sing this, I cringe, waiting for them to go way too sharp. You, my dear, did wonderfully.

This is my favorite song (to sing)! You did beautifullly! Much better than I ever could! You do have a gorgeous voice!

Gorgeous voice with lots of potential, nice diction. I'm sorry but there is almost no legato in the singing. I hear the notes separate from one another. Had it been a college jury recital, judges would have pointed that out immediately considering it a glitch in vocal technique. Vibrato is absent, especially in high notes.
