春の海は、普通琴と尺八だけどバイオリンともすごくハーモニーが とれていてよかったです。

I would've prefered the erhu instead of violin gives it more ethnicity.

Unfortunately, the erhu would give it too much Chinese flavor. Japanese music almost never features a bowed string instrument.

Where did you find the sheet music for this piece? I play violin and my friend plays koto, so i would really like to play this piece with him.
