@zarlino354 One of his pupils and good friend was my friend, Marguerite Wolff, who was also my teacher many many years ago in London. I seem to recognize the venue where this recital was played, I am almost sure it was in Marguerite's house, Chandos House, in London. I would love to speak to you if you were there.

This is a really really amazing playing!! Every time I saw the score of thie etude, I always deem it is "unplayable"... (is this word exist?)

Wonderful ! Thank you so much ! I stumbled into this video, Louis Kenter was my teacher for some months 1977-78. I never have seen him playing since. This performance brings me to tears !

Thanks for posting this! a wonderful pianist. I studied with him and was present at this concert. Very moving to experience it again.

Lucky you! I had the complete recital on video tape, but lost it in a move. I can try to find it again, as a pianist I know in Maryland actually videotaped this, and hopefully has the rest. The concert, as you remember, included the B Minor Ballade as well.
