Steve Alten is my favorite author, and this was one of the coolest books in the Domain(2012 Doomsday) series, next to Domain. This is probably the best theory ever of what might happen to us on 2012. I loved this novel, you should buy it, after reading Domain and Resurrection, or it gets confusing. To watch another book trailer for one of his novels, go to my channel

It seems that no matter how far the progression of knowledge within human history achieves, the lack of understanding upon which OUR actions affect the universe/reality inevitably leads to a cyclical quantum fluctuation creating a "time loop" that starts our world all over again. This might explain the increase of incidents involving "deja vu".
