Just read this line from HPATPS and retrospectively realised how AWESOME it is.
"The lake froze solid and the Weasley twins were punished for bewitching several snowballs so that they followed Quirrell around, bouncing off the back of his turban."

Youtube has a snowflake on a couple of videos for the winter. Click on the Snowflake as soon as 0:00 starts and the snow falling down during the screen will make it extra cheery.

In the original version, I think you hear the ghosts singing as you pass them in the hall? But it's only for about 2 seconds and it's very soft.
