On March 6 2001, Michael Jackson spoke to students at Oxford University, to promote his new initiative; Heal the Kids.

Develpoed by Heal the World Foundation, Heal The Kids was launched in year 2000.

Heal The Kids was set up to develop a campaign to help parents and adults around the world to educate them on the importance of reprioritizing their lives in order to bring children into the main focus in order to imbue them with the love and devotion which they so badly need and to stop the cycle of neglect. Give all at risk children more support and consideration from all sectors of society.

Man, I can sure relate. I don't understand my own mother. She had the american dream, a husband, two children, and a dog. Then she decided to fuck up her mind with drugs and some loser she picked off the street. And because of that,

I've had to grow up without a mother and I've never really cared or felt bad about it because I was used to it.

But now that I listen to this speech...all the hurt is emerging from my heart.

He never healed that pain of not being loved by his father....but what he did do is recognized his father had his own issues...We come to everything with who we are.....our virtues,strengths,faults and vices...and we do the best we can - most times....and to acknowledge a total person is a sign of growth. Don't be sad . Think of all of the times that you have seen Michael smile on this youtube. Come on now, I hope that you feel better now. Michael would not want any of us to be sad, but happy that he is a gift from God that has put a smile on our faces and hope in our hearts.
