@scottishrailways Funny how they removed the gangways on the 318s, bought 334s with no gangway at all, and now we're going back to having them.
Fat chance of getting a trolley service, though.

Just watched the promo on the Scotrail website. What a lot of baws. Once again introducing a train that has many obstructed views and gimmicks - power points, WiFi, tiny scrolling text displaying train station names on the side of the train that nobody can read. Who designs and orders these things! They clearly don't ride on trains. All thats missing is carpeted wall. Two cycle spaces whats that all about. Trying to create conflict amongst passengers at places like Gourock etc I imagine.

I usually don't catch them on their maiden runs but would love to!

I wonder what the 380's maiden run will be. 334's maiden run was Gourock.

for selfish reasons i hope it would be gourock again! .. the are finishing up the siemens shed at sheilds depot:) ..for testing the 380's :) it will certinaly be either inverclyde or ayrshire lines i imagine the testing will be done ..esp since sheilds is on the line plus they are to be used for our lines almost exclusivly
