actually, the post is not about NOTHING. seriously, other than being childish and irresponsible, what's the point of seeing how fast you can empty a magazine? anyone call pull the trigger really fast. show me that you can empty a magazine quickly and accurately and I'll be impressed. until then, just another stupid video of someone who thinks it's cool to pull the trigger.

Springfield has a rigorous quality control standard. Don't be scared! Hundreds of thousands of semiauto handguns with similar safeties (Glock) have been used and beaten to near death but never has a single gun gone off by itself. Aside from a situation of extreme heat, and possibly your own stupidity, your good to go. Happy shooting.

I've had a .45 XD for about a month +/- 2500 rounds. It's great! I'm not sold on the safety mechanisms though...I mean, the thing is cocked! Accidents happen, and materials fall out of spec during production.

Ah man, I think that's cool as hell. I do the same myself...I don't hit but about two-thirds at seven yards, but hey, that's almost seven in the black. :0)
