Allya the Beluga whale at an aquarium in western Japan has learned to blow bubble rings. In the wild, some dolphins and whales blow bubble rings by inhaling air through their blowholes and releasing it through their mouths underwater. But thanks to scuba diving equipment, Allya can do it anytime.
Allya clearly loves interacting with her audience. She aims the bubbles at spectators as they peer in through the glass.

Whilst Buluga are cute, keep in mind they should be in thier natural wild habitat. The Japanese round up and kill 24,000 dolphins annualy at a place called THE COVE (watch the movie). They select a few for seaworlds and other water parks around the world then slaughter the others for meat which they wrongly label and sell as normal fish. Bastards!

how come the circular bubbles don't go up? they seemed to move horizontally then only goes up upon reaching the glass wall. I'm curious :) Maybe Beluga whales do magic haha

It's sad that they are in captivity, but they seem happy and goodnatured. It also might make people think twice before going out and eating a whaleburger. Maybe that's the whole point?

I just find this sad. Someone should kidnap those beautiful things and take them home.
