Damaged Goods

Synopsis: Damaged Goods is a film about relationships, second chances and the elusive perfect day. Originally a 25 min short, the challenge was to cut it down to 2:20! Aiming to create something unique the approach to the story was to present a digital short which integrates the format into the narrative. Presented as if the short itself is damaged, sequences are degraded, corrupted, have dropouts or wiped out altogether. The footage is captured and recorded from the viewpoint of big brother is watching. The short is full of questions, a puzzle with clues found within, it warrants repeated viewing and is intended to spark a debate - What is it all about? Who are these two people? What is Samsara Inc.? Perhaps you have some comments...
