Almond seed drilling machine (mixani paragogis soutzioukou)

This machine drills almond seeds and puts them along a needle. A string is attached on the bottom end of the needle and the seeds move on the string when you take the needle and lift it.
This machine is used to produce a traditional sweet of Cyprus called 'soujioukos'.
The whole process is controlled by a Crouzet PLC.

This is going to sound crazy but why must you drill the almond seed??? Does it hurt them??? Nice machine though.

Because after the drilling you put a string on one edge of the needle and pass them on the string to make a traditional sweet.

Great job!. getting almond alon a needle may be stupid but this could work for so many things with some adjustmens! Keep going dude!
