Making of Compulsion Audio

Here is entire creation process, this didn't include the making of my ambient track, Icarus, which two snippets were taken from.

Everything in this piece was designed from the ground up, except a few samples which were super modified. Sounds of balloons being, no better way to put it, groped. As well as some sounds of papers shuffling, and a wood crack. All super modified and heavily processed.

I created this in about 2 and a half hours, made with Ableton live, & Sony Vegas. The timelapse really doesn't show the amount of work that goes into making good sound, it actually makes it look quite easy to be honest. When it really isn't. On one synthesis in this piece, I had a plugin chain of about 17 effects, just to create the sound i was looking for. Its fairly tedious work to be honest.

Might render out the 2 hour video, but i doubt anyone will watch that, especially because the audio recording fucked up, so you wont be able to hear any of it. As a final note, I'm currently working on some new 3D, no release dates yet, still conceptualizing the entire piece. Probably going to be a bunch of rooms, and architecture renders.

The reason the final pieces audio sounds a little different is because I removed the background ambience I had originally made for it, and just got rid of it on the version uploaded earlier.

what do you mean made from the ground up? Did you do all the synthesis etc. yourself because it doesn't look it? Or using samples and adding effects etc.

@VirroXGfx The two audio samples at the very beginning of the video are sampled from my song called Icarus which were synthesized prior to making this. Almost every other sound in this was made from those samples taken from my song. However 3 sounds were Foley samples, which I picked apart, rearranged, processed, and modified. Not everything is synthesized because that would be pointless. Its a mixture of Foley samples, and processes synthesis.
