  • It had never occurred to me that dolphins would have a very long intact cultural memory of the planet, that is a nice insight.

    Sound is totally spherical in it's radiation, though, I think? Not just the tube pictured.

    I have no idea how this could lead to a breakthough in man/dolphin understanding, though. This is the same problem that exists for human linguistics - no one knows how to write down the symbolism efficiently.

    If we don't understand how neocortex works, we know ~nothing!
