  • Get to a neuro surgeon.

  • Thanks, but I've been there, done that--three times... no help. :*(

  • I have cluster headaches so I feel ya. Keep on keeping on

  • I know. I am under 18, and I suffer from migraines and have to visit my hospital monthly for training and more. It's hard to handle. It is every day, most of every day. light, noise, certain foods, everything. Just cope. You have done so so well so far, I am not even 18 and I understand, just what you are going through. I am so sorry for saying this, because I know you're thinking: ''NO! You don't understand! This is worse!'' but trust me, I do understand... You can do it... just persevere... :)

  • I know how you feel, i kept tryin and tryin then finally they found i had something called ACM, or Arnold Chiari malformation, causes all kinds of stuff especially headaches! radiologists ignore it because its such an understudied disease, but I had surgery and it requires a decompression and i cant say im 100% but hey 75% is better than what i was at, you might wanna check your records if you had any MRI's done just to be sure, if any of them say cerebellum Tonsillar Ectopia you may have this

  • @BCummings0419 yeah, i had multiple catscans and they said nothing was wrong and i was like WTF how can that be, im over here feeling like i'm dying, and seriously. no one has said anything to me yet, but i haven't told anybody anything else after that about my migraines, but i have them in periods of weeks, up to 3. and there usual only about a few days time space.

  • OH mean to ask but ran out of room, have you tried cutting out MSG (most common complaint of MSG sensitive people is migraine/headache) and other sources of glutamic acid? It seems to be in just about everything we eat. Caffeine is another thing that may be an issue not just analgesics. I also have some minor bulging in my cervical discs, so I have to be careful to keep my neck massaged (especially the deep tendons, and it hurts to reach them - cold burn, but takes away the pain).

  • Oh honey I feel so bad for you. I get them periodically. I have had to stay OFF meds like acetaminophen or ibuprofen because I get rebound headaches where I will constantly have tension and aching if I take them too frequently. The rebound headaches then turn into screaming migraines. One time I went to the ER and I was basically in the fetal position crying. But to have it constantly I cannot imagine. I pray the Lord will help you and heal you.

  • I can't say that I understand because my pain is the worst to me and yours is the worst to you. However, I know that not having a diagnosis or a prognosis brings on a wide array of emotions, and yes, we are the ones living with the pain. The doctors get paid regardless and keep taking their vacations. Not to mention how they give their friends business by referring patients to them. I'm living with it constantly, and no doctor comes close.

  • That's /exactly/ what's happened to me...

    x_x

Chronic pain of any kind sucks, but I think headache pain just limits you so much some times. When I start getting headaches everyday for weeks on end, I feel so...gah, helpless and powerless over what's happening to me.

  • I can't believe I didn't look up these videos sooner... Thankyou so much for this video... it means a lot to know there's someone who understands what I (and others) deal with on a dialy basis...

I feel like I've missed too many birthdays, family events, school days, work days, regular life days.

It's hard sometimes to always have it hanging over your head. literally!

I know how you feel, my thoughts are with you and everyone else who has to go through what we do.

  • I would'nt wish a migraine headache upon my worst enemy.
