  • wher axactly do you go to become a certified gunsmith

  • Take a gunsmith class with americangunsmithinginstitute, or Yavapai college, get a certificate. Then if you want to get into the biz, go to the ATF and file for a gunsmith FFL.

  • great video !! i am waiting for my parts from midway to start my assembly. But i noticed you sanded the actual trigger on the gun i never realized how the little things like that can assist in the feel and function of the gun.

  • 8:13 a gunsmith should know not to do this on a 1911

  • Nice job you need to do mine.

  • do any of you guys know what powers the slide stop upwards when the last cartridge is fired?

  • Very nice video , nice gun ....but I have better :)) Just joking .....good job .

  • man guns are so complicated to maintain.

  • Cool vid, but I'd just buy an new gun rather to go threw all that !!! Lol

  • @teddycanary i'd also like info on that guard

  • Cool video. Its amazing how many parts are on the gun when you have them all laid out like that.

Can you provide some detail on the trigger guard? I have never seen that before and it looks like it goes over the existing guard. Is it aesthetic only or does it have a function. Thanks!
