The Offer
(Say your chapter) of Kappa Alpha Psi, Inc. has always had a proud record of Use of Resources and Service to the Community. This year the Indianapolis Alumni Chapter, under the leadership of Eugene Murray (Polemarch), his team of officers, committee members and the body managed the following efforts: * The Kappa Leadership Development League * The Annual Thanksgiving Food Basket Giveaway with the Indianapolis Urban League * The Annual Christmas Food Basket Giveaway with the Indianapolis Urban League * The Ron Chandler Easter Egg Hunt for the Youth of Indianapolis * The Kappa Alpha Psi Scholarship Award ($5000, Recognized at 2008 Black & White) * The Rev. Charles Williams Prostate Cancer Awareness 5K Walk/Run * Prostate Cancer Awareness Booth During the Annual IBE Summer Celebration * Prostate Cancer Awareness Workshop * Habitat for Humanity Projects * Black History Month Information Fair * Voter's Registration Drive and Barbeque * and more.

By supporting our event, you're providing the financial resources needed to support Kappa Alpha Psi Fraternity, Inc. members and others in service to communities with particular emphasis on African-American communities. And even more specifically...the African-American male youth within those communities.

By supporting our event, you're allowing the philanthropic arm, the Scholarship arm of Kappa Alpha Psi Fraternity, Inc. to not only exist, but to exist in your community and to perhaps even thrive all across Indianapolis, IN. The Fraternity was founded in 1911 with the motto of "Achievement in every field of human endeavor." Soon after the Indianapolis Alumni Chapter (IAC), the Original Gamma Chapter (OG), was established and for over 85 years has had a major impact on the Greater Indianapolis Community.

We need our youth. We NEED our youth. Kappa needs its youth. Kappa NEEDS its youth.
