In this video, I practice reading without a dictionary. I am reading a Japanese book. I am not using a dictionary. I am not looking up words.

I went to the library and found a book with an interesting title. There are 5 chapters in the book and I read the first chapter before recording this video.

The purpose of making this video is for a reference point. Some day we can look back at this video and see my language skill at a particular point in time. I call it a language time capsule.

  • In the hours of 3 in the morning something... I didn't go back to hear you say the title again

    Japanese books are DIFFICULT! I usually have trouble with Shounen audience manga, but picking up a novel is a good way to benchmark yourself
