You weren't at this game, clearly. The way the bands were situated (next to each other instead of across the field), it would seem as though they were cutting through.

Case in point: I was in between them both; also you couldn't hear Central until the tuba break, and by the time they "cut through," they were already well into "Cold Hearted Snake."
