Dead At Heart[24]

She just stared at the picture that was framed on the wall in front of her bed. Her father's face was the last face she saw before she went to sleep.

But all it did was haunt her.

He had a smile in that picture, the most recent one he had taken.

But behind that smile, he had pain. Pain that only a daughter could give to her father.

The blade cut through her skin on the upper right of her arm.

She didn't feel it.

"Forgive me father, for I have sinned."

I rolled the sleeves to my shirt down, since the cuts would be visible if they were rolled up now. There's no reason trying to look cute anymore.

I lost kevin, if he doesn't like me what guy would?

I'll just stand afar and admire my friends and they're natural beauty. They'll get hit on like usual, and I'll be the odd one out. No big deal right?

So many girls have this running through their minds, but do they ever say anything? No of course not, because society will judge them.

Society will always judge you.

"Hey, you alright?" I asked Matt.

He nodded.

"You staying today?" She leaned against the locker.

"No, I have to go." He closed his locker, said bye, and left.

She watched him as he walked up the hill to the road.

Why does he have to be in so much pain? He's such a good person.

At that moment, she felt her cut sear in pain.

Damn it.

Okay, so the minute i get a comment, or see that comment, i'll post up the next one. So like an idiot, i forgot my lab info at school. And until i get it, i can't exxactly do the lab, so i'm just gonna be venting through these chapters. So please comment. love you guys♥

I really hope that Melissa will find a good guy who'll care for her. These days it's really hard to find real friends. But the society in which we live it's upside down T.T and we can't do anything to change it. Please continue the story ^^
