They were an underrated outfit, even their final album had at least three songs out of the top drawer. They were very English, in the tradition of Ray Davies, with themes that preoccupy so many, girls, booze and football, what more could you want? They did fantastic, value for money live shows too. Thanks for posting this, would be interested to know where it took place.

That is thanks to the singing of Paul Heaton - he has a superb voice, and can also sing A cappella, as he did with the Housemartins many moons ago.
