about 24 years ago when i was about 5 years old, i woke up one christmas morning about 4.30am and harvey was on bb2. being careful not to wake my mum and dad, i watched in wonderment while quietly and slowly opening all my presents.

What blows me away about this scene is just how organic, how natural he sounds. He pauses, he stumbles over his words, his eyes dance around as he tries to remember details, he slightly chuckles fondly at the end of the story, or as my dad put it, "As if in awe of the whole thing". If I were a theater teacher, I would have my students watch this, just to see great, living acting at its finest.

I am so glad I found this. When Clint Eastwood performed at the RNC I knew he reminded me of Jimmy Stewart, but I couldn't remember why. This is it. This is definitely it. And both performances, Jimmy in Harvey, and Clint Eastwood in the remake were awesome.
