Eurobeat style demonstration tune from the Yamaha PSS-480. For me, this was THE demonstration tune! It was very reminiscent of the music of Stock Aitken Waterman, who were devilishly successful at the time.

  • Ha, God. I can't believe you added this! I've got a PSS-480 at my grandparents that I still fool around when I can as the FM timbres are so idiosyncratic, but it spent most of its existence in (poor) storage because, as a I child, I was more fascinated by the SNES than making tunes. Ahhh, a youth misspent!

Anyway, the demo songs no longer work, but I've had THIS song in my head for the better part of the last 20 years, from childhood to the present. Didn't think I'd hear it again. Thank you :D

  • i just bought this keyboard for 6 bucks and love it!

  • Yo this was my first keyboard! For some reason it won't come on:( but who could ever forget that demo lol!

  • @xXSunnyKimXx By the way, forgot to make my point. Thanks for the upload, I love this song!

  • Thanks for the upload. Me mum has this keyboard, and I took it from her closet and started messing with it when I realized it had the same sound-chip as the Sega Mega Drive (Oversea, it's the Sega Genesis). It can make some pretty retro-sounding game music.

  • I had this! Classic keyboard.

  • Mil Gracias... esta canción la eh tenido sonando en mi cabeza por 13 años, nunca creí volverla a escuchar

  • this demo track is awesome and yeah it does sound like a stock aitken waterman production! that's their signature bassline!

  • The bass line on this reminds me of the bassline of the 90s Reeses Pieces commercial, compare to the “Reeses Peices Candy Commerical 1992 ” vid here on YT.
