Simi Ride Norwegian Grade, Again

1/14/12 - I was on Tom Soladay's (Kelly Benefits) wheel at the front until about halfway up until the lactic acid built up and I relented, recovered for a bit and came back strong at the end. I usually start the climb far back and half to pick my way through people as they blow up trying to get to the front, so I thought I would do better if I started at the front... I thought wrong.

@sweixel yeh i wish i could afford vittoria tubulars, but i can get bontrager xxxl for about 45$ a tire, so thats a pretty good price

@122ffsdd I use Corsa EVO CX tubulars on my race wheels. I've been pretty happy with the Rubinos but I got a Diamante on sale after this ride to try out.

@svenjto The return spring is broken, so that's a rubber band that keeps the shift paddle against the brake lever. Otherwise it flops around and isn't always where I left it...

@sweixel my favorite tires because they offer good grip but dont wear fast! of course i got some open corsas for 45$ so i couldnt pass on that.
