Zodiac's introduction scene is maybe the best I've ever scene. No doubt : Fincher is a genious.
I think the song called Hurdy Gurdy Man by Donovan make 50 percent of the scene perfection.

  • I'm looking for information about this scene to settle an argument. The whole scene in the city they're driving through is CGI. But the young murdered couple in the scene...they are real actors shot on blue screens right? I mean the actors themselves...they are real people...right?

  • @xraycat30

    Of Course they are. lol!

  • Did you add the music?

  • @BrickLaneBetty

No! This is the original scene.

  • @ofotopedro thx for the reply!

This particular scene is entirely real. Just the backgrounds of them driving were back-projected.

Remembering that a film script, when prompted to shoot, divides into three distinct names:

Sequences, that comprises a number of scenes, that comprises a number of shots, meaning camera positions or lens changings.

    Best

  • you gotta watch this on lbu ray

  • This is kind of like what Fincher did with Enya's "Orinoco Flow" for The Girl with the Dragon Tattoo, although the latter is more along the lines of A Clockwork Orange and "Singing In the Rain".

Fincher is a genius, and it's little bouts like these that prove it.

  • i dont think it was arthur leigh..he did not look that smart

  • he didnt even get a chance to fuck her

  • @taraannh1 i believe they thought it was a police officer spot lighting them for being at a "lovers point" they could not see anything due to both the headlights on bright and the flashlight that the killer was holding. Its easy to come to simple solutions such as driving away when you look at things after the fact, but when its happening at that very moment, only your primal instincts are active, if you're lucky.

  • @xraycat30 Wait, what city? This movie starts in the suburbs, doesn't it?

  • This is made more haunting with the film also ending with this song.

  • Oh ya.... Guitar solo by zodiac!
