Brett Dennen's "Make You Crazy" - Cover by Craig Wescott

This is a cover of Brett Dennen's song "Make You Crazy" for the Life is Good contest. I had heard this great song a lot but never explored it myself. Thank you to Brett Dennen and Life is Good for giving me a great excuse to learn it and stay up way too late wearing out a camcorder.

I play in a couple of two/three-person bands named Mile Zero and Lee Jacket. We play whenever we have time to and wherever it works out, and we have a blast doing it! (Both are on facebook.)

Very nice job! Could you post what chords you are playing. I'm trying to follow you but my guitar sounds very different. Awesome vocals btw!

I appreciate it. I decided to enter this contest after midnight a few hours before the entries were due. So for the sake of quick ease, I tuned my guitar down 1 and 1/2 steps from the original version to get in my vocal range. So, it's regular tuning, just where the low E string is tuned down to a C# and the rest of strings are tuned relative to that. Then, I'm playing these shapes:

Intro: Gm F Gm F

Verse: Bb F Bb F Dm G Dm G

Chorus: Gm F Gm F C Dm

Bridge: C Dm G Dm C Dm G
