I got news for ya. I spent 15 months as an intern doing paperwork in a state funded facility in W. Texas to "help" these men reset their gears after coming home. Before I left in 06, 4 out of 180 registered ate a bullet and a large remainder took their aggressive postal skills out on the family. Don't tell ME I don't know what this is about. It runs a hell of a lot deeper than any fluffy youtube video or what you care to ever acknowledge.

Very nicely done. I have never been in the military but have had serveral people very close to me that have (my Dad, cousins, and a couple friends: Korea, Vietnam, Persian Gulf) they may all joke and tell stories about the funny side of what they went through, but there are times I could see some of the bad stuff come back too. lt is important to be patient and when they actually do start to talk, listen.

A British poll interviewed 450 Afghans found that many people are satisfied with the security and justice the Taliban provide. More than half the respondents called them "completely trustworthy and fair". They did not demand bribes. The government justice system was heavily criticised for bribery and favouritism and was trusted by only 7% of men and women. Only 2 people opposed reconciliation with the Taliban.

That is 0.004% of Afghans opposed to Taliban freedom fighters. AMAZING

@lesdoyle2000 my point is nothing is perfect.....fort hood is a rough base alone.....and that's my point....the us military isn't perfect but it saves much more lives than it destroys
