Campus Compact Submission: SCSU Global Goes Local Conference and Community Engagement

St. Cloud State's signature Global Goes Local Conference as a means of community engagement. This short video highlights the April 11-12 Global Goes Local Conference [cosponsored by UMN's Immigration History Research Center and United Way of Central Minnesota] on the Social Conditions of Workers in Minnesota as a vehicle of community engagement by the St. Cloud State University Faculty Research Group on Immigrant Workers in Minnesota. The role of the Research Group in bringing Luis Argueta's Award Winning documentary (Abused: The Postville Raids) to Cold Spring's Latino immigrant community is also highlghted in the conclusion that features an interview with Luis Argueta at St. Boniface Church in Cold Spring, MN.
