Since I've recorded enough game footage of Williams Pinball Hall of Fame, I thought of reviewing each game individually. So I'm going to start with one of the newest games in the collection, Medieval Madness.

The conversion they did of MM is really good and captures the feel of the original table. Lots of great flow, nice shots and all of the music and voices are there too. Speaking of voices, 30 Rock's Tina Fey is the voice of one of the damsels that you have to save from the dragon in the tower.

The online leaderboards for Medieval Madness on Live are insane. It has to be one of the most played tables in the whole collection. Even beating the game once won't get you into the high score boards.

I'll be reviewing the rest of the games in future episodes, so keep subscribing and tell your friends!

  • get your facts straight man you have no idea what pinball is about . how old are 25?

  • No, I'm a year younger then you and I've been playing pinball since I was five. What facts do I have wrong? I got all of my info on the designers, the table run numbers off of IPMD, Plus, I've played this game many times in the arcade, so while I might not know how to get Barnyard Multiball, I think I know how to play Medieval Madness.

  • just as I thought! you are a young buck who has no idea how the golden age was. do some research and find out what the real pinball or arcade days were about before posting lame ass videos

  • So just because I was kid in the 80's means I don't know anything about arcades? When I was a kid I'd rather be playing games at the arcade then at home.

I'm not as old as the guys that attend the FunSpot tournaments doesn't mean I wasn't there and don't remember what they were like. I could go on about all of the great places I used to play arcade games.

So that means Michael V can't do Arcade Guts because he's younger then us? Hell no. We love arcades and that's what we make videos of.

  • I'm 35, and I've been an arcade gamer for as long as I can remember (and I don't mind telling you, I miss those days).

I don't know jack about the 360 version, but as far as the original goes, there's no question that this is one of the best, and most sought after, pinball games ever made. And this review seems plenty well researched, well written and well presented. I would love to get my hands on a real Medieval Madness machine, but knowing it's now emulated almost makes me want to buy a 360.

  • Are you high? Lord Howard Hurtz doesn't sound anything like Howard Stern.

  • It's a shame you won't see more pinball machines from the 90's on these compilations because they're all licenses :(

    Same with coon=op compilations really.

  • BTW: As others have said, ignore luke23. He's just plain ignorant. It's funny how the person who touts themselves as the older adult acts like the biggest child. Nick, I guess you'll never compare to luke23's great videos such as a random woman eating cinnamon and spitting it out. Wow, now that's quality entertainment.

  • Some really interesting facts in there. Had no idea Tina Fey voiced some of the damsels. This is why I love this show, you get tid bits of information you won't find elsewhere. I'm also enjoying the individual reviews of each table in the Pinball Hall of Fame. While there are many reviews of the collection as a whole, I have yet to see an individual review like this. Kudos.

  • Don't pay attention to lukem23....he thinks you gotta be old to appreciate pinball and arcades...I don't see him doin any rebuttle with pinball knowledge...well...where is it lukem23...enlighten us....thats what I thought...spare us and don't watch the videos then.

  • one of my fave pinballs of all time too - bravo!

  • This looks like a good port. Awesome video man.
