To me, it's laughable when people ask me how the economy/recession is treating me. I have been working freelance for 30 years. I have never had a year where I made the same income, it is always a roller coaster. I don't notice the recession like others. I learned long ago to adjust to the ups&downs. A low year is okay, because the previous year had been huge. I need a freakin' vacation!
