@happypedro12 You know Union don't donate lots of money to political causes, Trial Lawyers don't contribute lots of money. Progressives bitch when corporations give money but are silent on where "their" interests do so. Vote for anybody you like. Its your right. @sethmauseth acting as individual people i mean that they can contribute any amounts of money to campaigns. so they donate the most, they get the most say in what laws they want passed.

@sethmauseth And its mainly because the supreme court made the ruling that corporations can act as individual people, which means whoever has the most money can make the rules. Who has the most money? Oil companies and Wall street, which is why you see this "echo" from all the people who get money from those people. I'm going to register independent next cycle, but it will be a cold day in hell b4 i vote for anyone in the GOP or teaparty.

I base my opinions on what I read and what I experience. I live in Raleigh so I'm not in the center of the political playground like you are. I do see the sincerity and the decently in the Tea Party eventhough I'm not a member. They have every right to be angry and concerned. Our political elites have taken gov't spending to ruinous levels. Progressive governance is a fiscal disaster and hopefully will be corrected after the next election cycle. It'll be interesting to see how the votes go

@sethmauseth You are basing your views on the Tea party off of one local even you attended? I live in a town where they protest at least 5 times a week. I've seen protests, viedo taped them, and interviewed the participants. Did I mention that I live in D.C.? Conservatives call liberals terrorists all the time. Glenn Beck and Sean Hannity have both infamously called Obama a terrorist on air and there is footage of it out there.

@Frostbite864 Again, I think that you are wrong. The one Tea party event I was at (were I worked it as a street vendor) was pretty calm and I didnt get the racial vibe. There are idiots in any group but I didnt see one. No person was threaten or assaulted who disagreed with the tea partyas in Wisconsin during the union protests. Please show me an instance where a Conservative call a Progressive or a Liberal a terrorist. What are the Tea Party folks misinformed about? Where are they wrong?

@sethmauseth No, Tea partiers do not always clean up after themselves. There is always trash left behind after protests. The fact that you would use something so frivolous like that to prove a point is almost laughable. Many of them are decent people but there are also alot of racists and idiots in the mix. I've seen many a video showing exactly how misinformed they are. And I don't use the term "terrorist" to describe anyone who I don't agree with. Conservatives do.

I'm not a tea partier but a blind man can see that they are decent people worried about this country. However, the union guys up in Wisconsin assaulted folks they didnt agree with. The Tea Party folks are far from uninformed or misguided. Ryan actually addressed the entitlement issue as Obama was not offering an alternative. Trying to paint Conservatives as radical terrorists is a stretch
