plasma ball

While messing around with wireless energy, i discovered a easy way to make a plasma ball, and also help understand about elevated capacity,or maybe antenna.

trill trigger supplies the pulse which powers two ignition coils, thats hooked up in parellel, + to - , - to +
the secondary out of one of the coils must be hooked up to an independent ground rod.
and the other secondary , will act as the antenna, and high voltage lead for the plasma ball.

any questions or suggestions are welcome.

this setup can also be used to to light up a led wirelessly from 10 ft away with just a antenna on the led .

Do you notice two colors in the streamers? When I did this sort of thing I saw a yellow-orange streamer ... but also the blue streamers.

@morpher44 I think yellow and orange is sodium in the metal, reason being is a prior experiment with salt on the anode.  i once had a blueish color because of the green pateena (think thats what its called) that had developed on the copper. thanks for the comment. great experiments you got going.

the reason the electricity doesnt hurt is because its a different kind of current. you've created a DC current. it's completely harmless compared to the more commonly used AC current.
